I was in Budapest, the capital of Hungary in summer. There is a lot of information about the amenities and the sights of this city in every guide to Hungary. However, I would like to tell you about the thing that is rarely mentioned, about bunker museum within the Citadel fortress at the top of the Gellert hill. Austrians built the Citadel in the middle of 19th century after the re… Continue
You can't even imagine how much I love Wappenbund music... It makes me feel glory and it makes me feel grief.
This bombastic music is very powerful and deep. I like such music that makes me cry because of its spiritual grandeur. And my tears are falling down with every sound and every sample, but I'm not crying because of the sorrow, there are tears of triumph.
I'm a little bit sentimental now, writing these w… Continue
Hey...It will my pleasure to show you the bunkers. Actually I was thinking about creating a web page in English with all the info about WWII German bunkers, as well as shelters and other structures, along with pictures and directions. Once that is up, I will let you know so that you can tell me which interest you the most.
how to be a paratrooper? simple. you just have to want to kill someone so bad that you are willing to jump out of an airplane to do it! not for everyone but having said that, there is no shortage of volunteers for the airborne. and yes it is voluntary, but once your in, they got you.
that kid who climbs too high in the tree or jumps off the highest cliff at the old swimming hole is a paratrooper, they just don't know it yet! the symbolism of the paratrooper wings is GIGANTIC among hero circles. i've seen guys who were afraid of heights do the course just for the right to wear the wings. it takes 7 jumps to get your wings here. i've seen guys faint, piss themselves, shit themselves, pass out in mid-descent, squeal and shake like little schoolgirls, and cry like babies! the best is the guy who jumps off the ramp or out the door and turns around in mid air and tries to get back on the plane. too fucking late! your gone already. you get to look them in the eye as they try and dog-paddle their way through the air against gravity to no avail. i used to smile and wave at them as their crazy eyes got bigger when they realized that they weren't going to make it back on the plane! funniest shit i have ever seen!
