Dark ambient/Industrial/martial band form Barcelona, Catalunya. It's members are Òscar and Desirée. Persona was born when both members met in 2005. It's first song is "Bellum Vitae Tenebris" which is included in Koji Tano's compilation by Steinklang Industries. The first release was an untitled 20 copies double mini cd edition in a coffin-shaped wooden box released under Marbre Negre productions. Persona participated in Honi Soit qui mal y pense, the 3rd compilation sampler of Neo-folk. it with "Cançó del nou món". The next release was "Selbstmord" released under Smell the stench in cdr and later released by Nervous Nurse in metal box with photographic paper inlays in a limited edition. The next release was the mini cd "Llibertat" released by Mask of the Slave. Later, the song "Dolor Irreversible" in the Theremin Noise Club Compilation "Silent Fears". In october 2007 Persona made it's first concert with A Challenge of Honour. In august 2007, Persona's new song "A Sang Freda" was on Moral Hazard, a compilation release edited by Indie Ziert and also the song Notte d'ombra e paura for Lucio Fulci's tribute compilation Nightmare Concert ot Bone Structure. On july 2008 the band made a concert for the Ethereal Fest 2008 Festival in which they presented the 3" release "Temps de mort" and the reedition of "Selbstmord" cdr in dvd slimcase with a postcard and a pin, both released under Marbre Negre label. Persona has made a song called "Dia d'hivern" for the compilation release of La Defunción and Caustic Records: "My dear freaks II" compilation and a song for the Neofolk.it 5th compilation. They have played at Demonix Club with Der Blaue Reiter and Barditus and in Valhalla Club with Uxmal. Meanwhile, the next cd "Ruïnes" is being prepared.
